The ASA now regulates all marketing communications on UK based organisations’ websites. Watch the recording of the ASA recent seminar on Digital advertising to help you to access advice and guidance at your convenience. All you have to do is login or sign up to CAP Services if you are not already a registered user.

Some sensible voluntary guidelines to follow.  The CMA are working with the ASA to refine the guidelines for Professional Holistic therapists. Naturally you will want to include client testimonials however it is necessary to understand what the guidelines say and keep within the wording.  This is consistent with remaining within the ethical code of Professional Therapist organisations.
The aim is not to deny free speech but to preserve it. The essence of this is that a website can be a media advertisement and like all advertisements must follow sensible guidelines of truth and fairness.
