"Health is the greatest posession. Contentment is the greatest treasure. Confidence is the greates friend." -Lao Tzu

You dont hear much about Heavenly Love in these days dominated by material love and the environmental and spiritual degradation which goes with it.

so where do we go to learn of heavenly love, perhaps an antidote to material love? Practical steps we can take are to use fennel oil or fennel tea to help with fasting. Giving our body's a break from material consumption makes sense to me. What emotion is associated with a balance between material and heavenly love? Not just one but several perhaps. Fear and Confidence?

Love is recognisable through the dilation of the pupils. This is why Hildegard refers to the eyes being the window to the Soul. Material love consists of a succession of transactions and the transient possession or use of property. Heavenly love is timeless and is free of cost. In the Christian tradition love is found in the personality of God and particularly of Christ who we get to know through the accounts of others. But there are many kinds of love. the Greeks reckoned there to be over 30 eg love of the leadership etc....
