Homeopathy is a system of medicine which involves treating the individual with highly diluted substances, given mainly in tablet form, with the aim of triggering the body’s natural system of healing. Based on their specific symptoms, a homeopath will match the most appropriate medicine to each patient.

homeopathy is a tough one for the regulators. if you take a substance which has biological effects and then dilute it can it still be said to have a biological effect and so be a medical device?

weight is placed on the claims of manufacturers. If the substance is claimed to have an effect then it is a medical device and regulated as such.
