Aromatherapy and babies
In my experience no particular essential oil is needed as the jojoba will take care of it. Besides being chemically similar to the skins natural oil sebum fresh jojoba contains helpful vitamins.
So less stress all round and may even convince the most sceptical of husbands of the merits of plant oils for the skin.
A drop of lavender oil at bathtime will turn this from a stressful experience to a delight.
They are all getting so big now!

Shirley Price Aromatherapy Principles and Theory - Distance Learning Course

A four module course sent to your own doorstep including all the course notes, carrier oils, essential oils, books and dvds that you will need.
A four module course sent to your own doorstep including all the course notes, carrier oils, essential oils, books and dvds that you will need.
The Distance Learning Course (DLC) in aromatherapy has been designed for aspiring students who are not able to attend the in-house training that is offered by SPAC.
The learning is assessed by means of course notes, background reading of appropriate text books (many of which are included in the course pack although several other books may need to be purchased), and observation of massage techniques presented in video form. The course is presented in a box file.
The student will be required to complete each module, of which there are four, before proceeding to the next one, and will be required to submit written evidence to SPAC as directed.
Upon completion of the course and assessment session, the student will be awarded the SPAC Distance Learning Diploma in Aromatherapy. Students are advised to take between 1 year minimum and 3 years maximum to complete the 4modules.
An anatomy and physiology qualification will be required.
Whilst studying the DLC you are eligible to take out “Student membership” of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (IFPA). After completing the course you may take out “Associate membership” of the IFPA, and will be eligible for insurance cover. This cover will be the same as that offered to full members .

Classical Pianist Davide Martello plays Gezi Park
The experience of blending essential oils is often compared to the notes of a piano fused to create a single experience. Never was there a more poignant moment in recent history than the work of Davide Martello

Essential oil flashpoints
Flashpoints. Some essential oils have flashpoints lower than others. This is important to bear in mind both in using essential oils and in shipping essential oils. Out of the Essential oil 48, Essential oils with a flashpoint of 141F 60.5C or less include Black pepper, Eucalyptus globulus and radiata, Fir, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, Pine, Ravensara and Rosemary Cineole.
